Bore water retrieval can be a difficult task and only recently, it has been simplified with modern flexible hose technology. Our revolutionary Flexibore® flexible rising main ensures simple and effective bore water retrieval. This layflat bore hose can be installed and retrieved with great ease compared to rigid pipes.
Flexibore® 250 is a large diameter, high quality layflat bore hose available in both 8" and 10" and is manufactured by weaving a textile reinforcement of high-tensile polyester and encasing it with hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane. The woven polyester fabric gives the hosea high burst pressure for deep well pumping. It is also designed to handle the weight of the pump plus water up to 250m inside the bore.
Flexibore® 250 can swell up to 15% making it extremely efficient in reducing pumping costs and friction loss. By dilating under pressure, no internal build-up of iron bacteria occurs as seen with rigid pipe use such as polypipe or fibreglass.
It is made to suit most bore water pumping applications and is manufactured in a large range of diameters, ranging from 40mm to 152mm. The hose can be available in a continuous length of up to 250m and each roll is fully tested prior to despatch. Secure couplings can be easily attached on site. A strip with intermittent loops every meter runs along the length of the hose. This allows the secure attachment of the electrical power cable to the hose and prevents possible rubbing against the bore casing.
