High Quality Potable Water Layflat Hose

Aqualine^™ is a high quality lay flat hose for use with potable water. It is manufactured by weaving a textile reinforcement of high-tensile polyester and encasing it with potable water-approved polyurethane. This flexible hose alsohas good resistance to abrasion and can withstand moderate traffic.

Aqualine^™ is a lightweight and low-volume coil hose suitable for long distance water transportation. The polyester woven jacket gives the bypass hose its high bursting feature and the polyurethane cover and liner not only protect the hose against abrasion damage but is also UV stabilised for prolonged outdoor use. The unique design of Aqualine^™ renders the hose not only extremely tough and durable, but guarantees ease of handling and roll up/storage.

Aqualine^™ can form an integral part of a complete temporary water bypass system for uninterrupted drinking water supply so that mains renewal or pipe works can be carried out without any interruption to homes and businesses. Aqualine^™ bypass hose is also ideal for large scale civil works, mining projects and offshore work.

It is typically rolled out as a temporary water supply system while the utility carries out pipeline refurbishment works. The hose is usually cut into 9m lengths and a T-piece coupling is attached at each end. Customers can be connected from these outlets to the main line, while pipe renewal or refurbishment takes place.
